“Music in Museums with Ensemble Al-Nisa

The chamber music cycle “Music in Museums” is a project supported by the General Directorate of Arts / Portuguese Republic, the Municipality of Portimão and the Costume Museum of S. Brás de Alportel. This cycle aims to provide an educational and enriching experience for the public, through chamber music concerts. It also aims to be an opportunity to bring listeners closer to chamber music, demystify the repertoire and create a more accessible environment. The participation of the public will be stimulated, not only as listeners, but also by understanding the context, the pieces and the interpretative process of the musicians. The artistic choice meets the diversity of chamber groups, in their composition and style.

On March 29, the Ensemble Al-Nisa takes the stage, an oboe and piano duo that arises from the desire to honor all the great women in the world of music and who have often been silenced.

Free admission, subject to prior collection of the ticket at the reception of the Museum of Portimão.
