Journey to the world by Franco Cerarini, by Orquestra do Algarve
March 16
Free
Born in Italian Switzerland, the conductor, pedagogue and composer Franco Cesarini is today one of the most prominent names in the world in writing for wind instruments. Its catalogue is extremely extensive and since 2021 it has been dedicated exclusively to increasing it, having withdrawn from the world of interpretation or pedagogy.
This concert will be an opportunity to savour some of his compositions, with a special focus on traditional dances, which will take us back to the landscapes of the Mediterranean.
