Encatation – Culinary Experience

One “writes” his dishes, the other wants to “eat” his ideas. Alexandre Gauthier is a chef recognized around the world for his creativity and a unique identity that earned him a second Michelin star in 2017. It speaks of the rhythm of flavors, of the crescendo, of the rupture of flavors and the creation of a series of emotions. Alexandre Gauthier loves art, the encounters it provides him, and especially with pioneers such as Johann Le Guillerm, a renowned contemporary circus artist. The chef and the artist share the same way of doing things: laboratory research and artistic exploration combined with a pronounced taste for transgressing established codes. For “Encatation”, they combined their skills: the kitchen is made by the chef and the objects, shapes and scenography come from “Attraction”, the artistic research that Johann Le Guillerm has been carrying out for the last 20 years.

“Encatation” is an invitation to a strange ritual that will allow you to experience in an existential way what it is to savor concepts with both the stomach and the mind, those two extremities of Man that, connected to a column, allow him to stand upright. “Encatation” involves the whole body imagined as a place of total experience.
