“Celeste in the world of Telechildren”, presented at the Municipal Library

Denise Catarino, with a degree in Social Education from the University of Algarve, presents at the Municipal Library of Portimão the children’s book “Celeste in the world of Telechildren.”

She discovered her vocation to help others in the context of the volunteer work she developed, at the age of 18, in an IPSS in her area of residence.

However, her great passion is working with children, who are the ones with whom she most identifies.

She was lucky to live a very happy childhood full of love, with family and friends being her biggest pillars.

Eternal dreamer, passionate about books and the visual arts, she now ventures into the literary world, with great enthusiasm, and in the hope that her work will transform the mentality of children and adults.

This is the story of Celeste, a girl full of life, and with a contagious energy, always ready for play and a good adventure with friends, a child who loved Being a Child.

However, the day before her birthday, Celeste realizes that something very strange is happening to the people around her, and that they no longer have time for herself, which makes her very sad and unwilling to celebrate…
