2nd Portuguese Women’s Cycling Cup

On March 16th, the riverside area of Portimão is the starting point for the Portuguese Women’s Cycling Cup.
The Women’s Portuguese Cup is composed of a set of events with cumulative points, of a national nature, under the exclusive responsibility of the UVP/FPC-Portuguese Cycling Federation, aimed at the categories of Cadets, Juniors, Under23, Elites and Masters (30, 40, 50 and 60).
This event on the national calendar is exclusive to female runners and already has the participation of more than 100 athletes.
The Portuguese Women’s Cycling Cup is fundamental for the evolution of women’s cycling in Portugal. In addition to the opportunity for high-level competition for female cyclists, it also plays an important role in promoting gender equality and the growth of the sport.
