Music in Museums with the Lundú Duo

The Museum of Portimão is one of the stages of the chamber music cycle “Music in the Museums”, a project supported by the General Directorate of the Arts / Portuguese Republic, the Municipality of Portimão and the Costume Museum of S. Brás de Alportel. This cycle aims to provide an educational and enriching experience for the public, through chamber music concerts. It also aims to be an opportunity to bring listeners closer to chamber music, demystify the repertoire and create a more accessible environment. The participation of the public will be stimulated, not only as listeners, but also by understanding the context, the pieces and the interpretative process of the musicians. The artistic choice meets the diversity of chamber groups, in their composition and style.

On March 15, at 5:00 p.m., the Auditorium of the Museum of Portimão receives the Duo Lundú, which unites the Voice with the Classical Guitar, in a commented recital in order to frame the audience of the music that was made at the end of the 18th century. designed to be played in an intimate environment, as a form of entertainment different from the large concert halls. The artistic choice meets the diversity of chamber groups, in their composition and style.
