Regional Sea Canoeing Championship

On March 28, the seas of Portimão are the stage for the Regional Sea Canoeing Championship, a competition that brings together about 60 athletes, representing six clubs in the Algarve.

The competition starts at Praia da Restinga, with the finish line installed next to the Marina de Portimão, on a route that values the natural environment and the excellent conditions for the practice of the sport. The event is scored for the regional ranking, reinforcing its importance in the competitive calendar.

Organized by the Clube Naval de Portimão, the Algarve Canoeing Association and the Portuguese Canoeing Federation, the event promises a day marked by competitive intensity and sportsmanship, open to all who want to follow sea canoeing closely.
