Superbike World Championship

From March 27th to 29th, the Superbike World Championship returns to the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, in what will be the second round of the season and the first European race of the year.

The 2026 edition takes on a special meaning for the Portuguese public, as it marks Miguel Oliveira’s home debut in the Superbike World Championship, in front of national fans, on a circuit he knows well and where he has already starred in remarkable moments of his career.

It was precisely with the Superbike World Championship that the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve made its debut on the international scene, in November 2008, and since then this competition has become a regular presence on the calendar, winning over riders and fans for the technical demand of the track and the strong adhesion of the public.

Three days of speed, emotion and spectacle, which once again put Portimão at the center of world motorcycling.
