Tribute to Carlos Paredes – Lisbon Sinfonietta

Show to mark the centenary of the birth of one of the greatest exponents of the Portuguese guitar, Carlos Paredes (1925-2004). In this show, pieces by Carlos Paredes will be performed (in arrangements for Portuguese Guitar and Orchestra carried out by Portuguese composers Luís Cardoso, Tiago Derriça and Francisco Tavares) in which the guitarist from Coimbra Paulo Soares will be a soloist. In the first part of the show, works by Ropartz and Grieg will also be performed.
