Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes hosts the photography exhibition “Olhar Profundo” by Miguel Veterano.
It is an underwater photography exhibition that reflects many images of the world from the bottom of the sea.
Miguel Veterano was born in Mexilhoeira Grande, Portimão.
He tried scuba diving at the age of 14, which cost him two ruptures in his eardrum.
At the age of 18 he took the diving course at CASA – Centro Atividades Subaquas do Algarve with Alberto Machado, Mario Rui Sousa and Remy Bongard.
Shortly after, in the 70s, he started underwater photography with the rudimentary means possible at the time, both in diving and photography.
