Granfondinho in Portimão

On the 1st of November, Portimão hosts the “Granfondinho#, a race for children from 3 to 12 years old, as part of the Granfondo Portimão by Skoda.

“Granfondinho” is an initiative aimed at encouraging the practice of sports and the teaching of cycling, promoting team spirit, collaboration and active participation among children, while reinforcing the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

We deeply believe in the importance of sports practice in the training of new generations. It is at this stage that, through sport, children not only develop the technical skills associated with the sport, but also acquire psychological and civic skills, such as resilience, respect for others and the ability to overcome, which they can easily apply in their daily lives and in the construction of their personality.

In addition, training sport provides a positive and motivating environment, which is essential for the personal and social growth of young people.

Each child must bring their own bicycle and the use of a helmet is mandatory. Gift, medal and podium for all participants!
