“At Christmas, Buy Local”

In 2025, the campaign “At Christmas, Buy Local”, is part of the Comércio do Centro Portimão brand, resulting from a partnership between the Municipality of Portimão, the Association of Commerce and Services of the Algarve Region (ACRAL), the Portimonense Association of Commerce and Services (APCS) and the Portimão Tourism Association (ATP) and aiming to stimulate the municipality’s economy during the festive season, campaign for which 30,000 euros were allocated.

Taking place between December 1st and December 31st, 2025, this campaign is aimed at people aged 18 and over who shop at participating stores and deliver the respective coupons, duly filled in, on the 1st floor of the Portimão Single Counter, located at Rua do Comércio, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

For each purchase of 10 euros or more, customers of participating local commerce, restaurants and services establishments receive coupons for the fortnightly draws that will enable them to win shopping vouchers worth 25, 50, 100 euros.

Establishments can join the campaign free of charge, and must be done by filling out the respective form in person at the Single Counter, after which they will immediately receive the coupons to be delivered to customers after each purchase.
