Live Frontal Shock – September to December

Carlos Mendes is the highlight of the return of Choque Frontal ao Vivo ao TEMPO – Teatro Municipal de Portimão. The renowned Portuguese musician, with a career spanning more than 60 years and a two-time winner of the Song Contest, takes the stage on October 16, 2025, for a more intimate program at the piano where he will revisit some of the greatest moments of his work and reveal the surprises he is preparing for the coming months. A major figure in national music, Carlos Mendes is the most awaited name of this season of the Alvor FM program, which is approaching its 10th anniversary.

Choque Frontal ao Vivo returns on September 25, 2025 to TEMPO – Teatro Municipal de Portimão, for another season of concerts and exclusive interviews, reaffirming itself as one of the most relevant musical programs south of the Tagus. Opening will be Bernardo Emídio, finalist of Got Talent Portugal 2025, who presents himself as one of the most promising voices of new Portuguese music, bringing to the stage his unique vision of Alentejo cante. Invitations for this return will be available tomorrow, September 18th at the TEMPO ticket office.

After Carlos Mendes, the cycle continues on November 20 with the Algarve’s Mar de Fora, who cross the roots of traditional Portuguese music with contemporary sounds such as rock, reggae and blues, offering the public a bold and engaging experience.

To close the year, on December 18, the program welcomes Gabriel De Rose, finalist of The Voice Portugal (2019), who presents his new project De Rose and debuts his latest sounds in Portimão, after the success of the single Cenas, integrated in the soundtrack of the soap opera Sangue Oculto.

As always, admission is free, with invitations available on the Thursday before each show, during TEMPO opening hours and limited to two per person. Produced, directed and presented by Júlio Ferreira and Ricardo Coelho, Choque Frontal ao Vivo has the support of Padaria e Pastelaria Delícias (Portimão), CVA – Algarve Wine Commission and the Municipality of Portimão.
