Noitada Portimão 2024 – Festival of Light, Art and Culture

July 26 - July 27

Free

In celebration of Portimão’s centenary, the Portimão Night Out is about to transform the city center into a dazzling spectacle of music, art and culture on the 26th and 27th of July.
This celebration promises to be an unforgettable experience for all residents and visitors.

The Night is more than an event – it’s a festival that celebrates the vibrant soul of Portimão.
For two days, the most emblematic areas of the city are the stage for an atmosphere full of emotion, with live music, captivating performances, light installations and interactive activations. The public will be able to enjoy performances by the most talented artists in Portugal, such as HMB, Para Sempre Marco, Bateu Matou and Pânico (with Fernando Alvim, Carolina Torres and Paulo Silver). In addition, there will be laser shows around the city that will create an impressive visual spectacle, perfectly complementing the festive atmosphere.

Among the highlights of the Noitada are several art installations in honor of the sea, as a symbol of Portimão’s maritime heritage, and a regional market where visitors can explore a variety of local and artisanal products. The event will have several stages, with Praça da República being the CIDADE stage, where the biggest shows take place.

The iconic Largo da Mó will be the perfect setting for the “Palco Mó”, providing a unique experience to the sound of fado, while a Silent Disco will allow you to dance to the sound of songs chosen individually through headphones.

The light and neon shows, including Video Mapping, will transform the facades of the buildings into giant screens, which will also be a must-see attraction. For the little ones, there will be a Kids Zone, where the playground will transform into a wonderful land of neons, characters, inflatables and much more, thus ensuring fun for the whole family.

The Portimão Night Out promises to be a memorable event, capturing the spirit and culture of the city, and offering a weekend of entertainment and celebration.
