New month, new workshops at the Pedagogical Farm

March brings new workshops to the Portimão Pedagogical Farm.

March 1 – “The importance of the Pigeon” (recommended age from 5 years old)
In a dynamic and fun way, we will learn the golden rules of pigeon racing.
Special participation: Associação Columbófila de Portimão
March 8 – “Animal Feeding” (no minimum age)
Guided tour of the Farm’s animals, to get a closer look at them, get to know their eating habits and give them breakfast.
March 15 – “The Giant Turnip” (recommended age from 5 years old)
Counting, singing and playing, Maria Cachucha will teach a recipe and other curiosities about turnip and some of her friends’ foods.
March 22 – “Local Accommodation for Birds” (recommended age from 5 years old)
We will install nest boxes (artificial nests) to provide new places for the nesting of birds on the Farm.
Special Participation: Vita Nativa Association
March 29 – “Let’s Save the Hydra” (recommended age from 4 years old)
By reading the story “Let’s Save the Hydra”, kids and adults will learn how to avoid wasting water, a vital resource for our planet.
Special Participation: EMARP

The workshops always take place at 11:00 am, have a limit of 15 participants, are free but registration is mandatory until the day before they take place.
