Lota Cool Market 2025

The coolest market in the Algarve returns to the riverside area of Portimão for a special edition that celebrates its 10th anniversary. From July 16 to 20, from 6:00 pm to 2:00 am, Lota Cool Market promises afternoons and evenings of entertainment, gastronomy and culture for locals and tourists.

Lota Cool Market celebrates a decade of transforming Portimão and the people who pass through here. Since 2014, Lota Cool Market has brought together creators of small brands and producers of ceramics, jewellery, sustainable textiles, recycled wood pieces, among others… Over the years, the event has been a showcase of excellence for artisans and designers, offering a careful selection. But the flavors are not far behind: the food trucks and regional producers present bring a journey through local products.

LOTA COOL MARKET would not be complete without an excellent musical program. This year, the event brings a diverse selection of local and regional talents that promise to liven up Portimão’s nights. Every night, from 10:00 pm to 2:00 am, the main stage will host concerts by well-known artists and bands from the region. The Choque Frontal stage is once again the musical heart of the event, with daily performances between 22:00 and 00:00, followed by DJ sessions until 02:00.

Fun for the whole family
This year, the family space, located in Jardim Visconde Bivar gains new life again with the “Circo Vagamundo” through juggling workshops and interactive shows, traditional games in giant version, painting of sustainable murals with ecological paints, School of Rock, where the youngest can try instruments and form their first band, with a special performance by students and teachers on the main stage.
