Gonçalo Rosa – Presentation of the Homonymous Album
Gonçalo Rosa, a young guitarist from the Algarve, has his first contact with the Portuguese guitar at the age of 13. It was only at the age of 17 that he became more fascinated by the instrument, starting his professional career as a guitarist in 2018. In April 2023 he publishes his first music video with an adaptation for the Portuguese guitar of the theme “La Vie En Rose”, from the repertoire of Èdith Piaf. In June of the same year, he edits his first album entitled “Gonçalo Rosa”, interpreting the most emblematic themes that belong to the history of the Portuguese Guitar in Lisbon. With him, there is the presence of Bruno Davide, on classical guitar, who from the beginning has accompanied Gonçalo in his musical career, being also present in his most recent album.
