From a Little Age… – Art Festival for Children
January 17 - January 19
FreeFrom the 17th to the 19th of January, the Museum of Portimão will be the stage for “De Pequenino… – Festival de Arte para a Infância”, an event that celebrates the importance of artistic experiences in the first years of life.
This festival was carefully designed for children from babies to the 2nd cycle of basic education, integrating activities in the most diverse forms of art, such as music, theater, literature, plastic and visual arts, with the aim of promoting contact with the artistic world and creativity from an early age.
Featured Program:
January 17
10 am: Story Time (exclusive for schools) with the author and illustrator of the book “Malvico Sarapico, Um Duende Mafarrico”, Dina Sachse
18:30 pm: Show for families, with narration and live music by the Versátil Ensemble, bringing the short story Malvico Sarapico, Um Duende Mafarrico” to life
January 18
10 am and 11 am: Illustration Workshops, where children will give free rein to their imagination, guided by illustrator Dina Sachse
3 pm, 4 pm and 5 pm: Music for Babies, with sessions adapted to different ages, by Daniela Pinhel

5 pm: 3-5 years
6 p.m.: The Night of the Fireflies, a magical evening of tales with narrators who transport the audience to enigmatic and timeless nights. In charge of the Teatro Experimental de Lagos, Carlos Norton, multi-instrumentalist musician and Vasco Ramalho, musician and teacher.
January 19

5 pm: #Páginas Sustenidas, a show that unites music and literature, revisiting film soundtracks based on literary works, interspersed with original themes composed for imaginary books.
From a Little Girl… – Art Festival for Children offers a unique opportunity for families to immerse themselves in the artistic universe, promoting creativity and child development through memorable experiences.
