9th Adapted Surf Meeting of Praia da Rocha

Praia da Rocha is once again the stage for overcoming and inspiration with the 9th Adapted Surfing Meeting, which brings together surfers with disabilities from all over the country in an environment of inclusion, equality and sportsmanship.

With the support of specialized teams and adapted equipment, athletes face the waves and demonstrate that there are no limits when there is passion for sport. In addition to the sports aspect, the meeting’s mission is to promote awareness of diversity and universal access to surfing.

Organized by the Municipality of Portimão, in partnership with Portimão Surf Clube, PlaySurf/Yacht Club of the Marina of Portimão and the Future Eco Surf School/Clube Naval de Portimão, the event was nationally recognized as Local Event of the Year by the Social City, under the Sports-Friendly Municipality program.
