IX LUSOTUNAS – Meeting of Academic Tunas

Portimão hosts the 9th edition of Lusotunas, a unique meeting of academic tunas that promises to liven up the nights of November 21st and 22nd with music, tradition and student conviviality.

The event, which will take place at Portimão Arena, begins with the Night of Serenades at 9:00 pm on November 21st, in a special moment dedicated to the musical repertoire of the tunas, followed by the night of great performances on November 22nd, starting at the same time, bringing together five tunas, including the host IsmaTUNA. They are: Seistetos, Tunapapasmisto, Sal and Tuna, Alentuna and Tuna of the University of Maia.

The 21st of November has free admission to the public, while the 22nd will have a value of €1.50 for students in costume and €3.00 for the general public, and tickets can be purchased on site or at portimaoarena.bol.pt.

IsmaTUNA, created in 2008 at the Manuel Teixeira Gomes Higher Institute (ISMAT), leads the organization of this initiative, which has the support of the Municipality of Portimão.
