Beach Ultimate World Nations Championship

Portimão will once again host the Beach Ultimate World Championship, with 2300 athletes.

Praia da Rocha hosts, between November 16 and 22, the Beach Ultimate World Championship with the participation of 38 countries distributed in 10 divisions.

The inaugural game is scheduled for 10:30 am on Sunday, the 16th, with the national team facing Japan.

The finals take place on November 21 and 22, on 20 fields set up along the beach.

The event marks the return of the World Cup to the Algarve. Portimão has a solid path in the sport, after having hosted the European Beach Ultimate Championships in 2013 and 2019, tournaments that brought together more than a thousand athletes in Praia da Rocha.

It should also be noted that, in 2024, the city also hosted the Club World Cup, reinforcing its position as an international reference destination in beach ultimate.
