Peçanha – Security Protocol

One of the pioneers of humor on the Brazilian internet, founder of Porta dos Fundos and today with a solid career on screen, Antonio Tabet presents “Peçanha – Security Protocol”. In the play, which marks his debut in the theatrical universe, the actor plays the irreverent and infamous police officer Peçanha, the most famous character in his career, with millions of views on streaming platforms. A critical and public success, more than 15,000 people have already gone to receive the safety instructions of the sergeant-lieutenant-major.

The narrative is based on the safety instructions presented to the public before sessions in cinemas and theaters. Noting that such determinations are often not complied with, Peçanha decides to innovate and offer the services of someone who has “more than twenty years of corporation on his back” to, from the top of the stage and live, guide the audience as to the rules so that everyone can enjoy the play “Hamlet”, starring the celebrated actor Mateus Solano. The only issue is that Peçanha did not expect that the actor, always so professional, punctual and assiduous, would be late this time, which forces the policeman to stall the audience talking about his day-to-day work, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and the reality of an officer in his late forties who tries to adapt to the contemporary world.
